Bitching Hour #1
So here we go, folks. A project that we have unknowingly been working on for years. A decade and a half to be exact. When you've been best friends for as long as Tricia and I (Korie) have, you have a special relationship. You don't sugarcoat things ("why did you wear pants for your engagement photos?!", "no, I don't think that you should date that Australian in an 'open relationship'!" etc.). But you also love each other so fiercely that you would do anything for each other, like taking a road trip across the country in 2 days to move one of you to your new home state.
Best friends always have special activities that they bond over. For us, one of those activities is bitching. Call it what you want; venting, complaining, ranting, etc. Whatever you chose to label it, we love doing it. And we have never ceased to amuse ourselves over the years.
We have pretty different views on the world. One of us is liberal, the other moderate. One of us goes to church, the other is agnostic. One of us has known what she's wanted to do forever, and the other has taken 3 degrees, 2 states and 5 jobs to figure it out. We'll leave it to you to figure out ;-) But like all good friendships, we have things in common too! Those things typically come in the form of things, or people, that annoy us. So, we will be setting aside an hour each week, hereby dubbed The Bitching Hour, to just put it all out there and bring up anything that bothers us. Could be something that has bugged us our whole lives, or maybe something that we've just discovered is annoying that week. This is our space.There are no rules for the Bitching Hour Girls.
